Granular Control over Skills, Commands, and Services

TL;DR

New features

Granular controls for skills, commands, and services

Define granular security rules to control which skills, commands, and services AI agents can use. Restrict unauthorized or high-risk actions while allowing approved agent workflows.

A single Verax permission group contains skills, commands, and services. This conceptual schema shows the three released permission scopes without assigning them to a particular AI tool or implying a setup procedure.
Illustrative example. Set permissions for skills, commands, and services.

How to use

  1. Open Agent Map to discover the skills, commands, and services used by Agents across your organization.
  2. Navigate to Rules to create or edit a security rule.
  3. Select the skills, commands, and services you want to control, and define the conditions under which the rule applies.
  4. Set the rule action to Allow or Block to enforce your organization's security policies.

Cursor and Grok support

Expanded AI tool coverage now includes Cursor's web Agents window and IDE, along with Grok. Configure tool-specific security controls, including the ability to allow or block Cursor cloud agents.

Official Cursor and Grok product marks in separate cards. Cursor supports the web Agents window and IDE, with cloud-agent allow or block controls. Grok is identified as a supported AI tool. Cloud-agent controls apply to Cursor.
Illustrative example. Cursor and Grok support. Cloud-agent controls apply to Cursor.

How to use

  1. Open Protect → Global to review the data security settings inherited by supported AI tools.
  2. Navigate to Protect → Cursor or Protect → Grok to configure tool-specific protection settings.
  3. Open Advanced Controls to manage the capabilities available for each tool, where supported.
  4. For Cursor, enable or disable Cloud agents based on your organization's security requirements.

SSO login

Use single sign-on to access Verax with your organization’s identity. Supported identity providers include Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace.

Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace are shown as supported identity providers. A separate conceptual flow shows organization SSO sign-in to Verax. No directory-group mapping or setup sequence is depicted.
Illustrative example. Supported identity providers and a conceptual SSO sign-in flow.
